Some pictures from Korea...

Christmas in Korea

Since no-one is stopping me, and they're still observing Christmas here and on foreign radio stations from Europe and America, it is now the 5th (?) Day of Christmas! As you may have guessed, Christmas isn't so big here in Korea. It's mainly a kid's thing, and then after that a couples thing (reinforced by the image of a macking couple I spotted in the entrance of an apartment in Hyehwa), and then possibly after that a foreigners thing. They do set up quite impressive lgihts around the city, which haven't yet been put down.

Today is the very last day of actual classes for me. I'm sure if I sat and thought about it, I could be sad. But for right now, I'm rather happy. When I walked into my 103 class, I was greeted by an exclamation of surprise and happiness by my girls, and then an immediate shout of my name. It's rather sweet that, even after an entire year, they're still rather enamoured of me. Luckily, I'll have quite a few of them for Winter Camp, too, which I've been gathering quite a lot of material for. With any hope, I can use what's left of my Summer Camp stuff.

Lately, I've been trying to lose weight. Even though I'm not at my heaviest that I was at home, in comparison to the Koreans, I feel tremendously fat. And it doesn't help that I'm extremely pictures conscious, and that the Koreans love pictures, and love taking pictures of themselves for social sites. So, perhpas I'll take a leaf from their books, suck it up, and start getting more comfortable.
